Dear Friends,
The public school system of our Nation’s Capital is fighting for its life. It has many lifesavers dedicated to helping it transform itself from a failing mark to one that serves its communities well and illustrates to the rest of the world that a culture can be judged by the way it treats its children and by the quality of its investment in their education. We are a group of educational technologists who have simply decided to do something about this problem by helping the teachers, principals and administrators who are working diligently to pull this system from the brink and improve its results in every category of performance. We have dedicated our individual resources and those of our companies to help win this fight by organizing this nonprofit public charity—not as an advocate for industry but as a fighter for children and their education. The only thing we seek is the success of our children and for it to be said when the story is written about the renewal of Washington’s Public Schools that we were there to help. Won’t you join us?
