Governance / Funding
Our Federal Tax ID# is 26-3904011 with a tax exempt status application pending. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity. We raise funding from companies, individuals, foundations, public sources and deploy these funds on behalf of the public schools in Washington, DC. We have a governing Board of up to forty members who meet regularly and are involved in voluntary projects in the school system. All our work and our reports are made public and we operate with complete transparency and a commitment from our Trustees that they keep all contracting with governmental entities completely separate from the charitable considerations working with TTEC//DC.
